PortPro, specializing in transportation management software (TMS) for the drayage industry, has announced the launch of two new products aimed at drayage trucking companies with brokerage operations. The first product, Port Pro for Carriers and Brokers, serves as an all-in-one TMS solution catering to drayage transportation providers operating both asset-based and non-asset divisions. This hybrid system is designed to provide companies with real-time information and enhanced control over their operations, making processes such as billing more efficient and faster.

Additionally, PortPro has introduced PortPro for Drayage Brokers, a web-based system specifically for non-asset drayage brokerages that manage loads for various drayage trucking companies. These new offerings are part of PortPro’s commitment to addressing the unique challenges of the drayage industry, particularly in navigating the shifting regulatory environment. The introduction of these products comes at a critical time as regulations like California’s Assembly Bill 5 begin to impact how trucking companies operate, necessitating changes in driver hiring practices and overall business models.

PortPro’s focus on innovation and regulatory adaptation underscores the importance of having a centralized platform for effective operation, communication, and collaboration among drivers, carriers, and brokers in the drayage sector.
