CSX and STG Logistics have announced an extension of their strategic partnership to bolster intermodal transport solutions and enhance drayage services, particularly supporting the door-to-door CSX RailPlus product. This collaboration underscores a 30-year history of enabling efficient intermodal operations across CSX’s extensive rail network, which spans over 20,000 miles across 23 states and into Canadian provinces like Ontario and Quebec. The partnership aims to deliver robust, environmentally friendly transportation options that align with the growing demand for sustainable logistics solutions.

Tyler Holtgreven, Senior Vice President of Intermodal at STG, highlights the enhanced capabilities that this extended partnership brings, noting the ability to scale intermodal operations and deliver reliable service to clients along the East Coast. The emphasis on intermodal transport not only supports economic efficiency but also significantly reduces carbon emissions associated with long-distance freight transport, presenting a win-win for operational sustainability and environmental stewardship.
